Our Philosophy and Principles
Corporations, communities and governments do not operate in isolated spheres. The cornerstone of the Cooperative Change philosophy is the neutral space where these sectors converge: the space of mutual benefits and shared interests, the most powerful agent of change.
Cooperative Change is a committed, involved facilitator at the interface between these three groups. We integrate their strengths, whilst recognising their independence and inherent differences.
It is at this interface that both organisational and social change happens, where economic development and community engagement are optimised, each of which we understand to be inextricably linked. We combine internal planning for organisations with coordination across organisations and communities.
With the extensive cross-sector capabilities and experience of our staff and our network of highly skilled associates, Cooperative Change realises that corporations, communities and governments work best together when they understand their common ground.
We view our role as
advisors and catalysts in the change process. We work over the long-term, building capacity in our clients and their communities, and we remain a constant source of corporate knowledge and strategic vision as organisations and their staff evolve.
